Content Creator Integrity Charter

Destination Score™ exists to provide standardized, comparative travel intelligence built on transparent methodology and interpretive restraint.

When collaborating with content creators, our goal is to preserve analytical integrity while welcoming diverse, personal perspectives on travel.

This charter exists to ensure that experience and interpretation remain intentionally distinct.

Role Clarity

Destination Score™

  • Provides standardized scores, explanations, and comparative context
  • Explains patterns across destinations, not individual prescriptions
  • Does not promote, persuade, endorse, or advise
  • Does not take positions based on personal experience or narrative framing

Content Creators

  • Share lived experience, storytelling, and personal perspective
  • React to Destination Score outputs as users, not representatives
  • Speak only for themselves, not for Destination Score™
  • Are free to express enthusiasm, criticism, surprise, or disagreement

These roles are complementary — and intentionally not interchangeable.

Attribution & Non-Endorsement Requirement

Any collaborative content referencing Destination Score™ must:

  • Clearly attribute Destination Score™ as the source of standardized analysis
  • Clearly state that creator commentary reflects personal opinion only
  • Clarify that opinions expressed are not shared, endorsed, or adopted by Destination Score™

Interpretation & “Hot Takes”

Content creators may express hot takes, strong opinions, or emotional reactions.
These perspectives are welcome — and understood to be personal and subjective.

However:

  •  Any opinions, hot takes, judgments, or conclusions expressed by a creator do not represent the views, positions, or conclusions of Destination Score™
  • Destination Score™ does not endorse, validate, or adopt creator opinions — whether positive or negative
  • A creator’s commentary does not redefine, summarize, or supersede Destination Score™ analysis
  • Destination Score™ scores are not evidence for, nor rebuttals of, personal opinions

Destination Score™ may respond to creator commentary only by providing structural context, comparative insight, or methodological clarification — never by amplifying opinion.

Approved Collaboration Formats

Collaborations may include:

  • Creator experience followed by Destination Score™ annotation or context
  • Parallel presentation (e.g., Experience | Structure)
  • Post-hoc explanation of how personal experiences align with or diverge from broader patterns
  • Comparative reflections across destinations using standardized scores

In all cases, Destination Score™ speaks structurally, not narratively.

Boundaries

To preserve integrity, collaborators may not:

  • Reinterpret or summarize Destination Score™ methodology
  • Present scores as advice, warnings, endorsements, or directives
  • Imply that Destination Score™ validates or disproves personal opinions
  • Influence scoring logic, weightings, or interpretive rules
  • Speak on behalf of Destination Score™ in any capacity

These boundaries protect both the creator’s voice and the system’s credibility.

Attribution & Separation

When presenting collaborative content, the following distinction should be clear to audiences:

“Destination Score™ provides standardized, comparative analysis. The creator’s commentary reflects personal experience and opinion.”

This separation is essential to maintaining trust and transparency.

Integrity & Disengagement

If a collaboration format risks blurring the distinction between experience and interpretation, Destination Score™ may decline or disengage without judgment or criticism.

Preserving analytical integrity is a core responsibility of the platform.

Closing Principle

Creators tell stories.
Destination Score™ explains patterns.

Both are valuable.
Neither replaces the other.
